Share your experiences and/or the reasons why you love Gmod. To this day, a few of my friends from highschool and I still play, occasionally hopping on public servers and mucking about. We never got to finish this one, as one of us kept spawning dumb sh*t that crashed the server. On another occasion, we spent a few hours tactically arranging furniture and objects inside a house on an RP map, anticipating a 2v2 Swat-esque attack/defense with FAS:2 weapons. One of my favorites is having eveyone play as the Dwarf from Paraket’s Pill Pack and trying to run away from th Nextbots one of us would continuously spawn around the map. We mostly just ♥♥♥ around, but we would sometimes come up with fun games to play. For a while I played jailbreak religiously.įast forwarding to the past 3-4 years, I mostly played Gmod with real life friends on our own private servers. exe (hl2.exe in my case - I renamed it to halflife2.exe) -> Add non-Steam. I fixed Half-Life 2 showing as gmod like this: Right click your game in the Steam library -> Manage -> Browse Local Files -> Rename the. I mostly spawned enemy NPC’s in maps I liked, creating little single player “missions” for myself. Discord says you are playing gmod and task manager is saying you play half life 2. Fond memories of DMing on various CS maps and interacting with TF2 communities on trade maps and Mario kart servers (oh, and the abominable harbl hotel). I started playing Gmod as a kid, just about the same time I started playing CSS and TF2. I’m sure everyone has great experiences and reasons for playing, so share them below!
